Amix™ ALA - Alpha Lipoic Acid is a dietary supplement with 200 mg of alpha-lipoic acid in each capsule. Alpha-lipoic acid is a substance naturally present in the body that is involved in cellular energy metabolism. It is also found in small amounts in foods such as spinach, broccoli and peas.
Endogenously produced alpha-lipoic acid acts as a cofactor for enzymes in mitochondria  - the cellular structures where energy is produced. It participates in biochemical reactions that enable the body to use nutrients to obtain energy, including processes for metabolising glucose.
Alpha-lipoic acid is also being studied for its antioxidant properties and interactions with the body's antioxidant systems. The biological role of this substance does not mean that its additional use will increase energy or reduce fatigue for everyone.
Amix™ ALA provides a specified amount of alpha-lipoic acid in a convenient capsule form. The plant-based capsule shell is made from hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, and the product is suitable for vegetarians.

Take 1 capsule daily with a meal, drinking a sufficient amount of water.
