Colorescience Sunforgettable® Total Protection® Face Shield Matte SPF50 is a lightweight, liquid-texture mineral facial sunscreen with a mattifying effect that provides broad-spectrum SPF50 PA++++ protection against UVA and UVB radiation. The formula with patented EnviroScreen® Technology also helps protect the skin from environmental aggressors, including pollution, blue light and infrared radiation. The product is specially formulated for normal, combination, oily and breakout-prone skin, as it helps absorb excess sebum, reduce shine and visually smooth the appearance of pores. The light tinted formula with iron oxide pigments applies transparently, does not leave a white cast and gives the skin a clean, fresh, modern matte finish. The product is suitable for sensitive skin, is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, vegan and water- and sweat-resistant for up to 40 minutes. The formula does not contain chemical UV filters, oils, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, fragrances or colorants.

Usage
Apply liberally and evenly to the face 15 minutes before sun or environmental exposure. Additional product can be applied to areas requiring stronger sebum control, such as the T-zone. Reapply SPF protection every 2 hours, and after swimming, excessive sweating or towel drying. For convenient SPF reapplication during the day or over decorative cosmetics you can use Colorescience Total Protection™ Brush-On Shield SPF50 or Sheer Matte SPF30 Brush-On Sunscreen.

Additional usage recommendation
For extra tinted coverage, Face Shield Matte SPF50 can be used as the first mattifying SPF layer and then apply Colorescience Natural Finish Pressed Foundation SPF20 in the chosen shade. For a liquid tinted coverage, Face Shield Matte can be layered under Face Shield Flex. Apply Face Shield Matte, allow it to set for about 1 minute and then apply the chosen Face Shield Flex shade. If the product is used once daily in the recommended amount, the packaging is intended to last approximately 90 days.
